The Coolboard system brings cutting edge design, manufacturing and materials to the natural burial industry. All components have been designed and engineered for maximum cooling performance, ease of use and durability.
Coolboard
The Coolboard is manufactured through multiple 5-axis CNC passes, hydraulic presses and proprietary custom tooling developed specifically for our application. The end result is a board with exceptional strength and thermal properties which uses the same materials and manufacturing techniques used in cooling systems for Medical Imaging, Data Centers, EV’s and EV fast chargers, and satellites to name a few. The concentric spiral pipe layout and thermally efficient materials utilised create even temperatures across the entire board surface, ensuring even cooling even in traditionally challenging situations like large bodies or high ambient temperatures.
Chiller
The Coolboard is cooled by a liquid coolant chiller utilising food grade Propylene Glycol and environmentally friendly R290 refrigerant. With cooling to as low as -20 degrees Celsius and adjustable in 1 degree increments initial cool down is fast and maintenance temperature easily fine tuned.
Designed for portability and ease of use the insulated hoses are detachable with quick connect leak proof couplings, assembly and disassembly takes seconds. Hoses are supplied in 2.5m lengths each with couplings allowing the board to be setup with the cooler either up to 2.5m or 5m from the Coolboard depending on your desired setup.
Coolcover
Included in the Coolboard system is the Coolcover, a multi functional insulating cover and carry bag with detachable shoulder strap. The Coolcover is constructed of easy to clean reinforced marine vinyl on top and 12mm neoprene insulation below the Coolboard to ensure the cooling energy is directed toward the top of the board and the surface it is on is protected from extreme temperatures.
